The website practices below apply to this site. The app sections describe the current design and must be finalized against the production app and services before public app launch. They are not a declaration that cloud accounts, purchases, or all integrations are already live.
1. Who we are
Liberty Exterior LLC operates this Housenator website and is developing the Housenator iOS app. For privacy questions, contact info@housenator.com.
2. Information on this website
You can read the product and help pages without creating a Housenator account. This site's own pages do not include advertising pixels, analytics scripts, a newsletter form, or a payment form. Images and styling are served with the site rather than embedded from advertising or social networks.
The hosting platform and its network providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, and security logs, to deliver and protect the site. A restricted preview may require platform sign-in and essential authentication cookies under that platform's own policies.
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot, and keep a record of the request. Email is handled through our email provider. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or sensitive home information.
3. App information: pre-release overview
The current app design uses these categories of information when the associated features are enabled:
- Account information: email address, account identifier, and sign-in provider. An external sign-in provider may share information you authorize, such as your name and email.
- Home information: room and item names, room layouts, furniture, timer intervals, reset dates, and related settings. Data is stored on the device; signed-in cloud features are designed to synchronize it to the account.
- Optional profile information: names and address fields if you choose to fill them in. You do not need to provide them simply to describe rooms and set timers.
- Purchase information: product identifiers, transaction records, entitlement status, and an app user identifier needed to manage a paid plan. App Store payments do not require entering card details on this website.
- Support information: messages and diagnostic details you deliberately share with us.
This information supports sign-in, room organization, reminders, synchronization, subscription access, and support. Notifications can display room and item names on your device's Lock Screen. You can restrict previews in iPhone settings.
Demo rooms use example data and are not a cloud backup. The app does not need your physical address to draw a room map. Amazon ordering is not an available feature.
4. Service providers
The app is designed to use Google Firebase for account authentication, cloud storage, and server-side functions; Apple for optional sign-in and App Store purchases; and RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management. These services process the information needed for their respective functions. The production configuration and complete disclosures will be checked before release.
Our website hosting and email providers process website requests and correspondence as described above. Data may be processed outside your state or country. We may also disclose information if legally required or reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent abuse, or respond to a valid legal process.
5. Your choices and requests
You can change notification permissions in iPhone settings and edit or remove items and rooms within the app. The app includes Account options for exporting data and requesting account deletion. Identity verification may be required to protect an account.
You may email us to request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you, or to ask about other privacy rights available where you live. We will assess and respond in accordance with applicable requirements. You do not need to send a password to make a request.
Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate. Manage or cancel an Apple subscription through your Apple account.
6. Retention and security
We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. The app's production retention schedule, backup handling, and deletion timing must be confirmed before release. Some transaction records may need to remain with Apple or other providers under their own obligations.
Access controls and appropriate technical measures help protect information, but no storage system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not use Housenator to store passwords, financial account credentials, or other highly sensitive records.
Housenator is not designed specifically for children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
